Default Turbo Mike's 2007 Mustang GT Turbo Powered

Just got some pics from Tyler at Turbonetics and the kit looks awesome! I cant wait to get my hands on it. They are currently testing some other wheels and compressors and he said the 07 was responding very nice to the boost. Hopefully I will have some Dyno Sheets in the next week or so.

Let me know what you think...

Later,
Mike

I'm sure the delivery driver knows how it runs, ask him!

Dana Carvey in "Moving" comes to mind.

ya know... i have had flashbacks of Dana driving that volvo numerous times... i asked for a pic of the mileage when it got on the truck. I also asked them to set the rev limiter to 2000. hopefully we wont see it on the local6 news in the coming weeks. hehe.

wan2run,
what is that pic of in your signature?

well it is here. Just picked it up this am and drove it to work. Was a fun trip... I think i am going to get Justing from (www.vmptuning.com) to work his magic on it to see what we can pull out of it. I believe they crippled the car for the shipping and they provided me with another tuner that had the turbo tune in it and when i uploaded that one... omg... i will have pics up this afternoon...

Default shes home!!!

Picked up my car this morning and just got back in from a drive. I have to learn to drive the car all over again!!! hehe.. it is a blast to drive and Turbonetics (www.turboneticsinc.com) did a freaking awesome job!!! The car idles like it is completely stock and drives great! Especially when you nail the gas. I drove it around for about 10 minutes with the Traction control on then I took it off... you could hear the tires breaking loose almost all the way through second gear and first is out of control... On the highway i reset the mpg computer and when i got to the end of the highway it said i was getting like 20mpg! WTF!!! I LOVE IT! hehe... the car is in the same shape as when i dropped it off. I think they put a whopping 20 miles on it while they had it... the hot side is completely wrapped and when you pop the hood it is just warm... not even like the 89 stang... after driving for 30 minutes you cant even feel heat on the hood by where the turbo is...

Here are a few pics i took of it in my drive way...

not too impressive... but this is with turbonetics tune installed which is WAAAY Safe! 411rwhp but the car was completely heat soaked as the drive was about a hour away from my house and it was like 100% humidity and close to 100degrees outside. The boost was at a safe 8psi... cant wait to crank it up...

So there was a little drive ability issue that I was running into and Jhame Peters from Turbonetics quickly work with SCT to get the car over there so they could take a look at it. I dropped the car off on Thursday morning and the guys at SCT dropped what they were doing and jumped on my car. Dave Seidel from SCT worked on the car and drove it in all conditions, traffic, merge, cruising, you name it he drove it. This guy is freaking amazing!!! After getting the car he said to give him a call or shoot him a email but I couldn't wait. I drove the car for a few miles and had to call him. There was a slight stumble and Dave got it worked out. Man the car drives like brand new! I drove it to a buddies house about 100miles away and cant believe I am getting almost 22mpg with the car!!! There was a accident on the Turnpike and caused me to have to sit in traffic for a good solid hr, stop and go, stop and go. I did talk to a guy who was driving a suburban from Tennessee (i think) who was pretty cool, he said he had a red S197 mustang and we talked about the kit and I told him to goto turboneticsinc.com or turborides.com to check out the kit. Well I drove the car for a few hundred miles and it runs and drive like brand new. It amazes me that you could get in the car and crank it up and drive it to the store and if you didnt get into the throttle you would never know it has been modified... My wife loves it!!! she took it for a "test drive" and said when she pulled out of the parking lot onto the road she was just barely going in second gear and when she stepped on it, it light up the tires!!! she was kinda shaking when she got back and just said "That thing is AWESOME!!! I LOVE IT!" So there you go... It has approval from my wife! hehe

I cant wait to get the car to the track again! I want to get it there when it isnt heat soaked... I would like to also get it on a dyno and see about turning the boost up to 10psi. Right now when I merge on the highway if i am in third gear it tends to brake the tires look on the on ramp... it is a blast to drive!!!
