We have an 88 Mustang GT, besides my turbocharged Accent... Anyway, I bought this car for my wife, it runs fine, and supposedly had the clutch, and cable replaced some time ago... I have the reciepts... Anyway the car came like this...

When you push in the clutch it does disengage, and engage fine, the problem is it REALLY hard to push in.... Did I mention it is REALLY hard to push in??? I thought possibly it was the clutch quadrant but I couldn't see any binding... Th car had sat for a awhile before we purchased, maybe the cable is a rusted on the inside. I am hoping the fork isnt bent in the transmission, but I would think that would take some real doing, to make that happen...
I have a Hayes manual, but it had no trouble shooting in it to help me out...

Any advice would be great thanks!

Most likely its just a bad clutch cable.

Cold also be the clutch depending on what brand was put in it.

Well, I really hope it's not the clutch... I am assuming that it was some sort of factory clutch... Ish... Thanks!
