Anyone know how much power I should be able to get out of my set up with 42 lb injectors. I doing a 351 with the HP stage one kit. I can trade for a set of 50lbers, but I'll have to buy a new MAF meter. My budget is getting tight so I'm trying to save as much money as possible. If my 42's will support 600 RWHP I think I will keep them. If not I may do the trade for the 50's and just suck it up and buy a new MAF.
The 42 pounders will not suffice unless you use an FMU. From what I have read on other forums, is once you go over the 42/50LBS injectors you will want to switch to low impedance injectors (this will alow it to idle). By the sound of your new set up I would get a good fuel system (http://www.cartech.net/fuelsystems.htm) and go to 60-72lbs injectors. 600rwhp is more than 700 flywheel horsepower. You do not want to run out of fuel at that power level.

That would be nice but I'm running out of cash. I can get some 50's on an even swap with a friend, I have larger fuel rails he gave me also. can't remember the size, I think half inch I have the 255lb fuel pump that came with my kit.

my buddy has the cartech outlaw kit that consist of twin 44mm turbos and he ran out of fuel with 42# injectors at about 4400 rpm 665.96 hp. check out his dyno graph Dannys Twin Turbo 91 GT in the photo gallery...

Sounds like 50's might take me to 5500, which is pretty much the factory redline. I can live with that for a while and upgrade the system later. If there is off base someone please let me know... I putting way to much cash in this thing to screw it up.

he talked to John Urist and told him to keep the 42s use a fmu (since he had one from cartech) and get the weldon 600a pump (350$). John seemed to know exactly what Dannys issue was... May send a PM to Duece and ask him. He is really smart on these too. He has a Fox coupe with a Urist 101mm kit. Still in the works, but should make around 1300RWHP!!!! it is SICK! it has a 382w in it and fully done.... I had pics up on the other site... did yall see them?
