I saw a link to this site from turbomustangs.com and since I've recently gone to a turbo on my car I figured I'd come check out the place.

The reason I'm posting in here is that I've got a couple of videos to post up. :)

The first one is of a recent run of my car at the track just after getting the turbo kit installed. http://saleen.v8mustang.com/pics/car/turbo/ben-run.wmv

and here's a video I put together of me and a bunch of friends at the Fun Ford Weekend race at Ennis this year. http://www.pomoforacing.com/videos/pomofo-racing.wmv

Tell everyone hi at turbomustangs too. I used to be a dedicated member there and i got banned for life for threating waterpog. Which is okay by me, i think we will have an awesome site here. When i was at turbomustangs, i always stood up for the little guy, and all the sudden they got into newbie bashing pretty badly, and now i am here. :D Didn't mean to rant any, just lettin ya know, i thought that is an awesome site, and hopefully we will be as good as them, cept more newbie friendly.....hope you will be able to share some of your knowledge with us. Feel free to post in the tech forums too, if you have any thoughts or insights that may be helpful to others, that you learned along the way.

Thanks... :) The car has an HP kit with a T76 on it.

I've been reading about turbos for a couple of years now and still feel like an idiot when getting into specifics of different models, trims, options. It just seems limitless the different ways you can custom piece a turbo together compared to the supercharger market.

They do runs for the shirts and stickers every so often to help pay for the bandwidth the site uses.

can you post some pics of your setup in the gallery. I would like to see how much bigger the 76 is than the 60. When does it spool. Right now mine starts about 2400 and is full boost by 3000 rpm. I am also at 6000ft elevation... My goal is to get my car to 9.99 at sealevel. It just went 11.6 but i am still pretty good ways away. I was thinking of stepping up to the 76 but i didnt know when it would spool and so forth... I bet when that thing hits it is a rush!!! Are you running a stick? It kinda looked that way in the vids... My motor is completely stock minus the heads and the intake...

maybe i can make it to Tx for a run or two next year...

Sure thing...

I've got a 377 so the extra cubes get the 76 to spool pretty quick. I'd say by 3500 give or take. It's kind of hard to tell as the last time I went to the track, i.e. the video I just posted, I was launching at about 1500 rpm with a 4200 stall converter. Ofcourse as soon as I mashed the pedal it would flash to over 4k and take off. On the dyno it was showing full boost around 4k as well. But I think I'll still point to the converter on that one, atleast for partial responsibility.

UPDATE: I just tried to upload some pics and after getting the file uploaded, it choked when I tried to add a description:

Script: bulkupload

Query: INSERT INTO pp_notify (id,userid,photo) values(NULL,,479)

Result: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '479)' at line 1

Database handle: Resource id #22

Nope no dyno videos. It didn't do anything extreme on the dyno. Basically it did about the same as my Novi 2k w/ just a lot more torque. I ran out of fuel pump with the turbo and the Novi so I couldn't turn the boost up much on either. It did 540-560rwhp on a Mustang dyno hot lapping it. I've recently upgraded the fuel pump and am hopping to now be able to turn the boost up and adjust my tune accordingly. Right now it's set to only 13# of boost. I ran 10-14# with the Novi depending on the air and belt slip.
